I am thrilled to announce launch of the 4th edition (2023) of ‘Ecology of the Planted Aquarium’. Print version (paperback, 228 pages) and eBook versions are now available from my distributors (BTPS) or this website’s shop page. Amazon is carrying the Kindle version, and as of 5/16/2023, the paperback is available on all Amazon websites, both in the USA and overseas. (Note: Amazon-printed book has a different cover, but material inside is the same!) New edition has the same low-tech, low-maintenance approach of previous editions, plus new material based on science, experience, and hobbyist input.

Thanks for comment. I am not sure that hobbyists would be willing to pay an extra $10 for a hardcover version.

In the past, I could publish a hardback at a reasonable cost. Doing so now would make it prohibitively expensive for mass appeal, plus each book ‘type’ requires an incredible amount of work. (I believe that my efforts are best spent elsewhere.) To that end, I hope to publish a new book Aquarium Fish Reproduction in 2025. It will be another small paperback, but this one will be in color. I trust that people that purchase my books are more interested in the material inside than the packaging. Sorry.

Is there a chance for a new edition in Polish? The last one is from 2007.

Not from my end. Sorry. You would have to contact the man who actually did the Polish translation and publishing.
